Originally designed for the New Zealand/Tasmania/Australia 2026 Craftcruises trip, this design is named for the body of water between New Zealand and Tasmania, and is loosely inspired by a watercolor found in a notebook from the 1930’s in the Wellington Library.

NOTE Both the hat and cowl need one hank of each color; however, if both the hat and cowl are to be knit, 1 hank of color will still be enough to make the set.

• Custard Apple (yellow, CC2): 25 yds/23 m used for hat, 150 yds/137 m used for cowl, 175 yds/160 m total used for both

• Tui (blue, CC3): 70 yds/64 m used for hat, 125 yds/114 m used for cowl, 195 yds/178 m total used for both
